Steps from Yarra Valley website. 

Step 1- Apply to connect. This can be made by the property owner or the Plumber by applying online. Gravity sewer system- www.yvw.com.au/csp/connect 

Pressurised sewer system- https://www.yvw.com.au/PSUform 

Step 2. Receive conditions. Once your applications has been processed you will receive the conditions of connection that you will need to show your plumber. 

Step 3. Get quotes. Obtain multiple quotes from licensed plumbers to connect your household plumbing to the connection point and to decommission your septic tank. 

Step 4. Book a plumber. Arrange for your preferred plumber to connect your property to the new sewer and decommission your septic tank. The plumber will give you a compliance certificate on completion of the work and prepare a property sewer plan. 

Step 5. Send Yarra Valley your paperwork. Email your copy of the compliance certificate (prepared by your plumber) and Property Sewerage plan to easyaccess@yvw.com.au or post to: Development Services Private Bag 1 Mitcham VIC 3132.
